If you aren’t ready to say goodbye to your favourite socks (or other garments) it’s time to discover the art of visible mending in this hands-on workshop with fibresmith Holly Kane.

Join us for a creative morning of learning, chatting, and breathing new life into your beloved garments.
Whether you’re completely new to mending or have some crafting experience, you’ll leave with practical skills and beautifully mended socks.

This workshop is perfect for all skill levels and ages 15+
No prior mending experience is needed.

What to expect:

You’ll master firework and honeycomb mending – versatile techniques that form firework-like patterns of stitching.
We’ll cover how to choose the right materials and tools for your mend.
This workshop will focus on socks, but we’ll also teach you how to adapt these techniques to repair other garments in your wardrobe.
You’ll work with handmade ceramic darning mushrooms (available for purchase on the day) and get to enjoy the iconic Cowgirlblues yarn candies.
