Have you been day-dreaming about dyeing your own yarn but aren’t sure how to get started? Perhaps you don’t have the time or space to make a mess. Or maybe you’ve done some experiments at home but you’d like to take things a bit further.

An Intro to Yarn Dyeing workshop might be just what you need.

There’s only 1 spot left to join Bridget for a fun, informative and very practical experience of dyeing your own yarn.

We’ll start with talking about colours to get some basic colour theory and discuss how to choose colours and where to find inspiration.
Next Bridget will demonstrate a few different dyeing techniques before setting you free to let your creative juices flow.
There will be two rounds of dyeing with some feedback in between, and no obligation to keep the colours you’ve dyed if you don’t love the results.
You can choose your yarn base: Merino Twist, Merino DK or Proper Sock.

Included in the workshop:

– Cowgirlblues colour card

– Colour Wheel take home reference

– any 2 skeins of yarn, your own dyeing or someone else’s if you prefer, depending on availability

– 20% discount on any additional skeins purchased on the day
