Happypotamus

The African Flower crochet motif is a beautiful building block for this project. And it lends itself to showing off the colours of variegated hand-dyes.
Bridget used 6x20g Merino Twist in different colours for the motifs, and ~3x20g of the same colour to join them up.
Making the motifs (Pentagons, Hexagons, Heptagons, Octagons) is quiet straightforward and doesn’t require advanced crochet skills.
The assembly doesn’t either – but getting the correct shapes in the right position is a bit fiddly and requires some concentration. It’s well worth the effort!
You’ll need to supply your own stuffing and eyes.

The yarn bundle contains 9x20g Merino Twist mini balls in approximately the same colours as Bridget’s Happypotamus.
